Software Tester

We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic Software Tester to test and report defects within software tools. This vital role ensures Phlexglobal are able to provide a high-quality end product to internal and external users. This position requires strong technical and communication skills as well as both independent and team working, including working closely with all other areas of the software delivery team and the rest of the Technology department.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Creating manual regression tests
• Review of software requirements
• Investigating, raising, logging, and closing defects
• Executing manual tests
• Documenting test results, and compiling results into consolidated high-level reports
• Willing to develop into test automation
• Participating in agile ceremonies (stand-up, planning, reviews)

Requirements: Software Tester

3-5 years exp

• Knowledge of Testing Tools (Jira, XRay)
• Demonstrable experience of manual or automated testing to ensure a quality software deliverable
• Good understanding of all phases of Software Development Lifecycle
• Knowledge of Selenium (or other automated testing toolsets) desirable
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies
• ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester Foundation preferable
• Ability to work and learn independently
• Proficiency in written and oral English
• Good organisational, analytical and communication skills
• Nice to have: Execute SQL Queries and validate the data in Database. Verify the data integrity in the migrated database.
